The Brief The window was small and the audience was teens. MIDFLORIDA Credit Union needed social media that could convert holiday cash into new checking account holders — fast.
The Strategy Teens are a skeptical audience, especially coming from a financial brand. On Snapchat, there's no room for a soft sell — you have a few seconds before the swipe. As the copywriter and content strategist on this ad, I wrote directly to the moment: holiday cash in hand, no plan for it yet. The creative direction was to make opening an account feel like the obvious, cool move — not a responsible obligation. Urgency without pressure.
